Information for Class Art Coordinators

Without parent involvement JM wouldn't be the place that it is today.

BLOG: Please check out the Art Blog (here) with a description of the project the class is working on!  More exposure = more interest (we want to get people excited and talking about what you have been working on so please share the link.) If there are more photos to add, please send to mayusan@gmail.com or eliz.ly@gmail.com.

EXHIBIT: As we did last year, we are working on creating a preview of the Auction Classroom Art in gallery format in JM's main hallway.  We will create prints of the art to be displayed before the auction so that parents during drop off, pick-up, or at the Halloween parade, can take a peek at the art that the students have been working on for the auction.

DETAILS:  As parents are finishing up the art projects with the students, the art can be wrapped, labeled with your name, and dropped off with Ms Gulikson in the library.  If you haven't done so already, please send us the Title, Medium, Size, Description, Photo, and minimum bid value.  As we as a school community all work together to raise funds for some of our kid's favorite classes such as P.E., Science, Computer, Library, and more, the intention of the class contributions is for the students to take ownership of their school and directly take action to help their school.

IMPORTANT TIMELINES

  • October 10 - Title, Medium, Size, Description, Photo, and Minimum bid value due for Auction Catalog and Bid Sheets.
